I played Mario Party Superstars with some friends tonight and we got the Tug of War mini-game. If you’ve never played this game, you need to spin the joystick as fast as you can to beat the enemy (1 vs 3). When you get to the practice screen, there’s a warning telling you not to rotate the joystick with the palm of your hand.
I, knowing that this was the most efficient way of playing, ignored the warning and used my palm the same way I did back in the early 2000s. After a couple of seconds of intense spinning, my hand was burning quite a lot but I kept going because I wasn’t gonna lose. When it ended (in a draw btw), I discovered the damage. I had ripped a good chunk of skin by spinning as hard as I could and ignoring the warning. Pictures of the damage.
Turns out, Nintendo knows their shit.
TLDR: Burned my hand by spinning a joystick while playing Mario Party.
