TIFU by obsessing over a single outfit and causing a boyfriend to breakup with me.

TLDR: wore full black for a while, boyfriend said it was a turn off and broke up with me.

You know how often times when you don’t have many clothes, you stick to a certain outfit you like for a while? So yeah. Most times recently I started obsessing over full black outfit: turtleneck, jeans, jean coat or a leather trench coat, and boots. I switched last 2 depending on the weather. I really enjoyed the outfit. My style isn’t something particular. Some days I can be dressed more feminine, some days more masculine. So this Sunday, after spending 2 days together, my boyfriend texted me at 8pm (5hours after i left his place) saying he wanted to come over and talk. So he did. One of the main reasons for the breakup was my choice of clothing, as he prefers more feminine styles (which i do wear often too). He said it was a big turn off and that I didn’t seem feminine enough because of that… Well that sucks. Been crying past 2 days, and even ordered some clothes in my style for myself as a little treat. My obsession with a full black, almost gothic outfit drew my boyfriend away from me.
