TIFU Forgetting a girl is deaf and starting a game of Marco Polo

This happened two days ago

I was at my girlfriends house and she lives with a lady who has a daughter about 9 and this night the daughter had a friend over who happened to be deaf.

After a while the girls started a blind pillow fight and I joined to make sure everyone was safe ish but sill had fun. The deaf girl was getting closer to the stairs so from the couch I called out "Marco" to let her know where we were.

And as soon as those words left my mouth I immediately remembered that she was deaf and I muttered "shit" and just pure silence after.
