TIFU by putting Nair on my vagina

Throwaway account so nobody I know sees this.

Today I F19 bought a new bottle of Nair as I was starting to get fed up of constantly shaving and getting razor rash. I have used Nair before so I wasn’t worried about all the horror stories I have heard of women getting chemical burns from Nair.

I started applying the product to my bikini line and everything was fine unfortunately for me I accidentally applied the Nair a bit further down than anticipated and got it on my labia. I thought fuck it nothing bad will happen. Famous last words right there. After I had applied the Nair everywhere I needed I started the process of watching TikTok’s whilst I waited for the timer to go off. The problem with that is that I had forgotten to set the timer and had it on for 10 more minutes than needed. I had a slight tingle down there but thought nothing of it but as I was clearing away the cream and hair it was becoming difficult and the tingle got worse. I decided to hop in the shower to get the rest off and that’s when the burning happened. Luckily I didn’t get the Nair over my entire labia so it wasn’t as extreme as it probably could have been. But as I applied soap to wash off the rest of the cream left behind. You would have thought someone had shot me. Holy shit it burned. I grabbed a mirror to take a look and as I had suspected it was all red and inflamed. I turned the water to cold and finished my shower.

Now I’m sat on my bed with sudocrem on my labia airing out as it is the only thing that is stopping this hell raising demon that is a chemical burn from hurting even more.

To put it simply. Ladies keep nair away from your labia.

TL;DR Put Nair on my labia. Now have a chemical burn.

Not the craziest story but hey. I'm obligated to say this was a few months ago but I cringe every time I go past the petrol station . TIFU - Don’t do what I did

On Sunday morning Aug. 24th, I awoke to discover a large blind spot in my right eye, which turned out to be what is called wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It has resulted in a very significant, permanent loss of vision in that eye. Although I maintain good peripheral vision, whatever I focus on at best is very blurry, and mostly disappears. I can barely make out the large E at the top of the eye chart. If this happens to my left eye I’ll be unable to read or drive. TIFU by getting suspended for 2 days by my front office in school.

I (13M) am an African American student at Jeannette junior high who had got suspended for 2 days here. I was in math class minding my business until my teacher had told me to go to the main office, which posed no problem to me. As i went down there, the people of the front office had stopped me and made me get a new ID (yes, we have id's.) so i had asked them if i could maybe do a different alternative and call my mother to let her bring the Id here, even then, the Id isn't that important. So, although i was talking to them in a calm manner and not showing any signs of rebellion, they had threatened to call the police on me without thinking twice before calling my parents.
