TIFU by putting wrong employer org name in thank you

TIFU when I sent a thank you note to the people leading a search committee and named the wrong organization.

I had a solid interview, then later on, sent a thank you note.

Admittedly, I typed the thank you email on my phone, on the fly, during a meeting, and didn't catch that autocorrect had put in the name of a DIFFERENT and COMPETING organization instead of the org I interviewed with.

I caught the mistake today and immediately sent a mea culpa explaining briefly what happened. I also said that I have nothing to do with the other org, which is 100% true.

How bad did I mess up, team? Did I totally miss a great opportunity that I would love because of stupid autocorrect on my phone's part and bad proofreading and multitasking on my own?

Argh.

TL;DR - TIFU by not proofreading a post-job interview thank you note where autocorrect put in the name of a competing organization and I didn't catch it before sending--death to autocorrect--ugh.

My girlfriend and I have been together for 9 months or so and things have been up and down but I love her a lot and she loves me a lot.
