TIFU by thinking my friends ex was asking for a booty call

Let me set the stage. I first met this friend when he invited us to go with our families to a weekend trip to a destination lake. We only stayed the first night because his boat broke down. That got my wife excited to buy our own boat. After we got our boat we started going with them Basically every trip they planned including day boating trips for the last 8 years.

After his divorce we went on a boating trip with them again to a destination lake for the long weekend and that is when I first met her.

We had a fun time hanging out with them and chatted quite a bit but nothing inappropriate happened. Really just getting to know each other. We became FB friends and never direct messaged each other.

They broke up but remained friends a little while after that trip. During that time I would like/ comment on her posts and she would do the same with my wife's and mine.

Well, my wife and I separated last fall and are in the middle of divorce proceedings currently. She finds that out through our friend and messaged me on Facebook around March expressing her condolences. Still nothing inappropriate just simply hey, that sucks hope things work out for you.

We started messaging each other semi regularly sharing funny videos, memes and even hung out for lunch once but still nothing physical.

Well spring time rolls around and my friend invites a group of people for a day on the lake. She was among those friends and by that time we've had a couple serious conversations about relationships, life and things like that.

So by this time we're really comfortable talking to each other and have a couple inside jokes to laugh about when we see each other on the boat. My friend even asked if I was moving in on his ex.

Up until that point I didn't even consider that I might be interested in her. And I was definitely not expecting her to like me.

Anyway fast forward to last night just after midnight she sends me a funny video of a couple where the guy tackles his partner and starts wrestling with her.

Well, I had a couple drinks in me and I said: haha, wanna play jujitsu?

She replied immediately with yes! I made the shocked reaction to her yes. Then I said: ok what's your address? (Wink emoji)

She didn't respond and I thought, well maybe I should text her. So I acted like barney from himym and texted her a question mark.

Well she didn't respond until this morning to both messages. My text she simply replied with another question mark. And to me asking for her address she said why?

So to "cover my tracks" I said: so we can play jujitsu... haha, or we could go to a studio...

Anyway, she hasn't responded to that message and now I'm nervous about going boating this weekend as I'm pretty sure she'll be there again.

I'm probably reading to much into it but I know for certain I was thinking her reacting so quickly to me asking her to wrestle and the state I was in I had sex on my mind.

TL;DR : I was exchanging msgs to my friends ex late last night /early this morning while buzzed thinking she was looking for a booty call. Woke up to her msgs this morning that seems like we weren't even close to a booty call. Now I'm faced seeing her this weekend.

Happened a couple of days ago, but yeah, as the title says... Oops... We've worked together for about a year now; we've always been friendly, but I never really clocked her as a potential romantic option; she's my coworker, she had a boyfriend when we started working together, and to be honest I just thought she was completely out of my league: I'm a schlub and she is gorgeous So when she texts me asking if we want to hang out after work, I genuinely thought nothing untoward would happen; I thought we were just going to chill and watch cartoons; and for a while we were just having a nice platonic hangout. So I have an Amazon account, and a family. Anyhow, the person I'm seeing likes to do things with me... try new things if you know what I mean 😏 Recently I've ordered a few packages with adult toys, swing, etc. And... clone a willy. It came in yesterday while I was out. While I was out I got a notification that the cloning kit came in. I sent my son a text asking him to bring my Amazon package in. He said he had already.
