TIFU by making my dog go hungry for no reason

So this actually happened today, but has been happening over the course of a couple of weeks.

Today was the day that we change the clocks forward in the UK, so having recently acquired a dog from the local dog rescue centre my partner and I agreed that we should gradually change the timings of our dogs meals and walks so that the sudden time change didn't come as a shock to her. You may be able to see where this is going.

Over the last 3 weeks my partner and I have been changing the timings for our dogs meals and walks by 15 minutes each week until we were satisfied that she would cope with the change and as I woke up this morning and looked at the time it dawned on me.

We went the wrong way...

We spent 3 weeks having our dog wait longer and longer for her food only for her to now get everything 2 whole hours before she expects it...

Rest assured doggo is thrilled with the change.

TL:DR - Made my dog wait longer and longer for food to cope with the clocks going forward, realised today we should have been doing everything sooner instead.

TIFU by sh*tting in the bushes at a high school

So I’m training for a local 10k race in a couple months. That’s about 6.2 miles. Not a long race but not a short one either. I’m making good progress and tinkering with what works for me on longer runs, how I can keep my body moving at an easy, consistent pace for about 70-80 minutes. I’ve been increasing the distance over the past few months, prioritizing getting the distance down before I work on pace. I train early mornings at a local high school track within walking distance of my house. They have public hours almost every morning from 6-8 am. It’s a very nice track with good lighting and ✨no public bathrooms✨. Because I’ve been focused on increasing distance I’m waking up earlier and earlier to get to the track and really hammer it out before I go home and shower for work.
