TIFU by teaching my cat that every time I touch her she must eat

This FU comes over a year in the making.

The first night I had my cat she didn't eat anything. She was used to dry food and we had given her wet. At the time we didn't know she only ever ate dry food. So in an attempt to get her to eat, I would pick her up, place her down by her food bowl and pet her until/whilst she ate.

This continued that I would pick her up and pet her by her food bowl quite often. She now loves her food, wet and dry and crunches away happily whenever she so pleases.

The problem comes in that, whenever I touch her, she proceeds to run to her food bowl (accompanied by a vrrrt sounding meow) and eat. On sight, she will run to her bowl and wait for me to accompany her. She will even go so far as to meow so somebody comes to watch her eat and rub her back.

Of course I will lovingly oblidge each time.
