TIFU by mobile ordering dinner

This did indeed happen today.

So it was pretty late and my mom and I decided to just pick up some food for dinner, since we didn’t feel like cooking. So I decide oh I can just mobile order some chicken from a famous Kentucky chicken place, since they have a really good deal on their app for some cheap chicken.

Well, I forgot the last time I did that was right before we moved. And I didn’t double check the location to pick it up at. So I get a notification that it’s ready but I don’t see any orders ready at the place nearest my house.

Turns out, I ordered it to a location 20 minutes away from me, which would mean 40 minutes until I got home and we had just picked up a bunch of meat at a grocery store so that wasn’t a good option.

Thankfully, my mother in law still lives in that area so I just called her and told her hey hope you are hungry cause there is some chicken ready to pick up you can have if you go get it. And then I had to reorder mine, so I ended up paying twice for what was supposed to be a cheap dinner (which I really didn’t have the money for since I lost my job a few weeks ago). It also doesn’t help that at the first place we had ordered drinks and a side that wasn’t showing up on the app in the drive thru which my mom was supposed to pay for, but her card declined for some reason and I had to also pay for that. So a $32 dinner turned into $76. Ugh.

TL;DR- ordered food to the wrong restaurant, had bad luck and paid more than twice what I planned to pay fml

Happened a couple of days ago, but yeah, as the title says... Oops... We've worked together for about a year now; we've always been friendly, but I never really clocked her as a potential romantic option; she's my coworker, she had a boyfriend when we started working together, and to be honest I just thought she was completely out of my league: I'm a schlub and she is gorgeous So when she texts me asking if we want to hang out after work, I genuinely thought nothing untoward would happen; I thought we were just going to chill and watch cartoons; and for a while we were just having a nice platonic hangout. So I have an Amazon account, and a family. Anyhow, the person I'm seeing likes to do things with me... try new things if you know what I mean 😏 Recently I've ordered a few packages with adult toys, swing, etc. And... clone a willy. It came in yesterday while I was out. While I was out I got a notification that the cloning kit came in. I sent my son a text asking him to bring my Amazon package in. He said he had already. I didn't think much of it. Until last night when I went to go... use it. I asked my son where the package was on my way out the door. He asked "The plant stand or the cloning kit?". Mind you, the boxes DO NOT say what the contents are, nor were they opened. He must have realized what he said because my face is a goddam story book. I just stood there silent and shocked.
