TIFU by not locking the door to the campsite’s shower

I woke up this morning with my husband in our tent at our camp site. We woke up at around 5:30AM and we figured we would use the campsite’s shower before we sent him off to work. As we walked through the camp, it was super quiet and there were no people anywhere! A perfect opportunity to have a quicky while we shower!

Once we arrived at the showers, we discovered that it takes only loonies ($1 coins) and no other types of coins! We had a few loonies, but not enough to have a full shower for the two of us. I took the coins and started the shower, and he ran back to get more coins from the car. This is where I fucked up! Lol.

When I started the shower, I obviously left the door of the stall open so hubby could come in when he got back. He ended up taking a really long time (One of our children woke up) and I ran out of shower time. Few minutes after the water stopped, I heard some noise from the door of the shower stall who I of course assumed would be my husband rushing back.

It was NOT him! It was one of the people we have camping with for the last few weeks. There I was! Completely nude, screaming, trying to cover myself and I think he looked just as surprised as I was.

Hubby never did show up either! No morning nookie and to make things worse, now I must finish off the camping trip hiding from that poor guy who I seem to see everywhere now.

TL;DR – Attempted to have morning nookie with hubby in the campsite shower. After bad planning and terrible decision making, our “camping neighbor” saw me completely naked in the shower.
