TIFU By Calling My Boyfriend

So I (20F) and my bf (20M) have been dating for a year and a half, things have been perfect except for one thing, he comes from a culture where it’s forbidden to date so his parents don’t know I exist (his siblings and cousins know though). I personally have had no issue with this as I’m a pretty chill person and im new to relationships so im just not ready to meet someone’s parents (though I want him to meet mine and plans too soon).

We have one rule in the relationship: don’t call him when he is home.

So here is what happened, he called me at 7:45PM seeing if I wanted to chat but I was out with my mom so I told him “I’ll call you when I’m home” and he said “okay”. When my mom dropped me off she reminded me to call him, as I’m very forgetful due to medication. So at 8:10PM I arrived home and called him. He didn’t answer. At 8:13PM I get this message “my dad picked the phone up”. He is furious and doesn’t want me to say one more word to him saying “I told you to never fucking call me at home” and he threaten to block me everywhere/ break up.

We’ve had a perfect relationship so far and I love him with all my heart, but I can’t believe I fucked up so badly by breaking the one boundary we have set in place. So I feel like an absolute a-hole, and it’s 9:56PM and I haven’t stopped crying.

TL;DR I called my boyfriend while he was at home and his strict Muslim father saw me calling, and now he is in serious trouble even though we agreed to call.
