TIFU By Not Hooking Up with the Girl I Had a Crush On

Back in 2015 I had been friends with this girl and after spending a lot of time together I ended up asking her out. She rejected me, and said that I was a nice guy but she prefers taller men. We continued to be friends and talked almost daily.

Well one night she had started offering nudes, trying to sext and offering to meet up. My immediate reaction was to jump on the opportunity, but I had a weird gut feeling. So I straight up told her that I found it odd that even though she had already told me I wasn't attractive to her, she was trying to start up this kind of conversation. And eventually it had came out that it wasn't really that she wanted to sleep with me, she was just using sex as a coping mechanism because she had been dealing with a lot that day. She had said she appreciated that I didn't just go along with it, knowing that she had already told me she didn't want anything more than friendship from me.

But damn was I an idiot, I should have just slept with her, or at least gotten some pictures, cause I'm never getting someone that attractive in bed lmao.

TL;DR: missed out on hooking up with my crush because I listened to a gut feeling.
