TIFU By not buying tickets to a party

Every year my uni’s study association holds a winter party (basically clubbing). Last year I went, but this year I wasn’t feeling it (for privacy reasons I won’t explain why exactly) - despite my friends all going. It didn’t matter as much to me up until now, since the tickets were sold out anyway.

Now a guy I’m interested in asked me if I’m going with the most toecurling, make-me-giggle-embarrassingly flirty message followed after.

Here’s the catch, I was never sure if he was just platonically friends with me. AND NOW THIS??? I never signed up to a waiting list this quickly, but I doubt that I will get a ticket when it’s already next week.

The one time I decide to just chill. Man.
