TIFU by walking in on my parents having living room sex

Throwaway because I don't want anyone to find my account.

So this happened when I was 6/7 years old so this was a long time ago. My parents and I lived in a small house that only had one room which was my parents room. So I basically didn't have a room so I sleep on the couch in the living room as my room.

So this happened in the mid summer. Me and my parents we were in the living room watching TV while I was in my thoughts like 7 year old me thinking about life. My parents were having a conversation and asked me if I wanted to go to their room to watch TV in there and I said yes and while I was making my way to their room they told me to close the hallway door, so i did and i sat on their bed watching TV for a while meanwhile my parents were in the living room watching TV and the fan on.

An hour and a half goes by and I was bored so I left the TV on in their room so I was about to go back to the living room because it's better than being in their room because I'm alone with my thoughts. I noticed that the TV was off but the fan was on so I was like, "maybe they're tired and sleeping or were turning the TV off and they were bored and we're about to go back to their room?". I thought of that but they didn't. So they're probably sleeping right? Nope.

As soon as I was about to open the hallway door I get hit with the smell of sweat and I see their clothes scattered on the floor and couch cushions as well.

7 year old me was confused and as soon as I look up I see my mom naked on the floor and my dad as well my mom. Mind you the walls were thin and they didn't make any noises. What's worst was they did it on the big couch where I sleep at. She turned her back and saw my face and she yelled at me to get out and I closed the door quickly and went back to their room and was lost for words and I have not came out.

Fifteen minutes go by and I hear the hallway door open and my mom and dad went to shower and they came back and told me to go now. So I went to the living room and the cushions are still on the floor so I had to put it back. They didn't bother using something on the couch so they did it with no towel or sheet. I had to sleep there and I was scarred for life and the image of my naked parents burned my memory

I'm 20 now and to this day I'm forever scarred for life and they never did it ever again

TIFU by getting called racist for not handing cash to a customer

today I (F18) fucked up by worked a long ahh shift and got put on register. I never hand money in people’s hands as customers have yelled at me for it, and i think it’s germy so I scoot it towards them as a sign of respect. this lady came in and after i did that she goes “Imma need you to do that again and put it in my hand, you did this last time too don’t you know it’s disrespectful” (meanwhile i haven’t worked register in 2 months at said job and didn’t recognize her) so i apologize, and then cuz it’s call off time i go talk to my boss about it and they all agree with me. apparently though she told my keyholder who’s a poc i was being RACIST by not touching her. so i got told i need to do better even though i didn’t do anything. she was insinuating i was a racist. idk if i should quit or what but i fucked up. TIFU by making a joke that landed horribly

I was talking to someone and thought I was being funny, but the second the words left my mouth I knew I had messed up. It was one of those jokes that sounds fine in your head and then just dies completely in real life. Nobody laughed, the mood got awkward instantly, and I could feel my face getting hot because I knew I had just made everything weird for no reason. What made it worse is that I tried to recover from it instead of just shutting up. So then I started talking more, which only made it more obvious that I was panicking. You know that feeling when you can hear yourself getting worse while it’s happening and you still can’t stop? yeah, that was me. I kept trying to act normal, but the whole thing was already gone.
