My (18F) parents and sister (8F) had gone out somewhere, so I thought I have plenty of time to get some alone time. I didn't bother closing the room door because I thought I'd hear the main door open when they come in. Nope. EDIT: Told my mom about what happened. She reassured me and said basically what a lot of the comments have said (It wouldn't impact her, just be more careful etc) and I feel a lot better.
