TIFU - I house-sat for a guy I know well and left a vibrator under his bed

So let me preface this by saying we used to regularly sleep together and are both single.

He asked me to mind his house as he trusts me and I’m good with animals (I have house-sat for very big properties in the past he is aware of).

I agreed and as I was there for a while, packed my ‘essential travel bag’. It contains mini toiletries, medication and also a vibrator.

I came home, left his house sparkling clean and washed the sheets, and came home to unpack - vibrator was nowhere to be seen.

I figured it must’ve been left in another bag.

Until today, I received a lovely message that read ‘you left this, what is it? It feels really nice and soft!’

I’m MORTIFIED.

I’m not sure whether I should make up a lie or just come clean.

TL;DR I left a vibrator in my friend’s house whose house I was sitting and he found it. I’m very embarrassed.
