TIFU by not getting a cute guys number

I, 13M, was hanging out at a park w friends and we were goofing around not thinking much of it, and another group at the park was around 5 girls and a guy who giggled everytime I went by. At some point one of the other groups girls yelled "MY FRIEND FINDS U ATTRACTIVE" to me while gesturing at the guy. At this point I froze up since this was the first time ever I had been given a compliment by another gay guy. The rest of the time I was trying to gather courage to go up there and ask for his number, but eventually saw them leaving and it was too late. That was tow days ago and now I'm wondering if something like that will ever happen again, I mean it's happened only once in 13 years and openly gay guys at this age aren't all too common and I fear they might not find me attractive at all. I know it sounds stupid but I just feel so alone out here, the two times I've felt close to having a relationship one guy was lying about being gay as a cruel joke and the other got with his best friend instead.
