TIFU by sharing the wrong tab in class

So this happened today and I still feel sick thinking about it. We had a Zoom class and the professor asked me to present my project. I clicked “share screen” without checking anything because I thought I was ready. About 20 seconds later I saw people typing “wrong tab” in the chat and my stomach just dropped. I wasn’t showing my presentation. I was showing a Reddit thread about my relationship problems and my username was clearly visible at the top for everyone to see.

I completely panicked and tried to switch tabs fast, but instead I accidentally stopped sharing my screen completely, so now everyone was just staring at me in silence. The professor said “take your time,” which somehow made it even worse. I finally fixed it and finished the presentation like nothing happened, but I know they saw exactly what I didn’t want them to see. I’m never sharing my screen again without checking every single tab five times.

TL;DR Shared the wrong tab in class and accidentally showed something personal instead of my project.

TIFU by fucking my coworker

Happened a couple of days ago, but yeah, as the title says... Oops... We've worked together for about a year now; we've always been friendly, but I never really clocked her as a potential romantic option; she's my coworker, she had a boyfriend when we started working together, and to be honest I just thought she was completely out of my league: I'm a schlub and she is gorgeous So when she texts me asking if we want to hang out after work, I genuinely thought nothing untoward would happen; I thought we were just going to chill and watch cartoons; and for a while we were just having a nice platonic hangout. TIFU by making chili and having an itch

I’ve been trying to expand my culinary horizons and am thinking about enrolling in culinary school to follow a passion instead of my daily slog. I picked out some recipes and decided to try and kick up chili a little bit, adding some extra chiles and hobaneros. I finished my prep during my lunch break and cleaned up.
