That was two months ago but the consequences just arrived today.
Let's start with why I lied to her, what I am about to tell you is something I am very ashamed and insecure about so keep that in mind, I am from Sudan wasn't born there but that doesn't matter I live here now and that country has endless list of problems including war, an actual war that's been going for 4 years.
I don't want to get into it further but before the war there were serious protests and hundreds of people were gunned down like open season, and before that there was COVID.
So long story short everything in my life have been frozen and paused for over half a decade, it makes gives me anxiety thinking about it gives an actual panic attack thinking about how many years of my gone to nothing.
Sorry for the long intro I just wanted to explain why did i lie to her, not just her I lie to everyone about my age, I lie to friends, random Redditors, I lie to my uncle who forgot how old I am, because if they believe it I will eventually believe it and then I wouldn't be so fucking miserable and depressed about it all the time.
Anyway, I met a girl two months ago there instantly kicked off and we became very close and everything was amazing and wonderful and I started to feel hope for there first time that my things in life might turn around and improve for once.
But I felt bad and guilty I lied to her so I confessed, she was angry and upset, very upset and she doesn't want to to talk to me for now, I probably ruined it and things might never go back to normal .
Tl:dr I lie to everyone about my age (it's a long story) i lied to an amazing woman I met and two months later I told her the truth and she was VERY upset about it and she is not talking to me for now.
