TIFU by not using a condom

Obligatory this happened about a month ago, but I’m feeling the effects today.

So a little background, I live in a pretty rural area that has some smaller college towns scattered around it. I spent a lot of my life there, but my cousin (and closest friend) grew up in the area and is pretty popular, so whenever I came to visit in middle school/high school I’d usually hang with him and his friends. For whatever reason, I’ve always been VERY popular with his female friends, and it’s been a running joke between us that he needs to hide me from his female friends because I’ve had multiple flings with many of them. Does that make me a bad person? Probably. But they’re all really cute so I feel like it’s defensible.

Anyways, about a month ago I went out partying with him and one of his few female friends I actually never got with. She was always very sweet and she’s clearly really smart, so I was very surprised when she started being extremely forward and somewhat vulgar with me. She was saying, “I really want someone to dick me down,” and other very clear signals that she wanted to hook up. At first, I just kinda played it off and didn’t plan on doing anything with her at all, but after a few shots and a night of dancing, I was feeling some type of way (blame the tequila). We go back to her place, hang out for a while, and one thing leads to another and I’m in her bedroom.

It all happened fast, we were both slightly drunk at this point, and we neglected to use a condom. This is very out of character for me because I ALWAYS make sure I’m safe, but this time I justified the behavior by thinking to myself, “oh she’s always been sweet, I trust her, she’s smart, this shouldn’t be a problem.” Boy was I wrong. About 5 days ago, it started to feel like hot fire whenever I took a piss. 4 days ago, it burned even when I wasn’t taking a piss. 3 days ago, my one eyed monster started leaking this nasty white shit and I knew that something was very wrong. Immediately knowing I had some kind of STI or STD, I took my diseased ass to the clinic and got treatment for chlamydia.

I’m really only scared of a few things, I’m generally a brave person, but on that short list are two things I really don’t fuck with: STDs and needles. Just my luck that they treat chlamydia with a shot to the ass. Now I’m on antibiotics that make me feel like shit and my heinie hurts, but not as much as my pride.

TL;DR, I fucked a girl with no condom, paid the price by contracting chlamydia.

Edit; some of you guys are saying I should let her know, and you’re right! As soon as I knew for sure what was going on, I let her know. She took it well, I think she already knew

Not the craziest story but hey. I'm obligated to say this was a few months ago but I cringe every time I go past the petrol station . My petrol was getting low, not dangerously so but it said 27 miles left, (oftentimes it then suddenly drops to about 16 for example, and then 5 and then 0 very fast) I didnt have my purse on me as I just didn't need it... TIFU - Don’t do what I did

On Sunday morning Aug. 24th, I awoke to discover a large blind spot in my right eye, which turned out to be what is called wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It has resulted in a very significant, permanent loss of vision in that eye. Although I maintain good peripheral vision, whatever I focus on at best is very blurry, and mostly disappears. I can barely make out the large E at the top of the eye chart. If this happens to my left eye I’ll be unable to read or drive. It turns out that I missed the opportunity that I had to prevent this from becoming a serious problem because I failed to report what appeared to be minor changes in my vision. TIFU by getting suspended for 2 days by my front office in school.

I (13M) am an African American student at Jeannette junior high who had got suspended for 2 days here. I was in math class minding my business until my teacher had told me to go to the main office, which posed no problem to me. As i went down there, the people of the front office had stopped me and made me get a new ID (yes, we have id's.) so i had asked them if i could maybe do a different alternative and call my mother to let her bring the Id here, even then, the Id isn't that important. So, although i was talking to them in a calm manner and not showing any signs of rebellion, they had threatened to call the police on me without thinking twice before calling my parents. This is where i started getting angry, and even then now the black peers agree that could have been a racially motivated action.
