I was born in México, but since my family is American I started out speaking English, it took me years to adapt to a new language, and I had to go through embarrassing moments to actually learn from many mistakes!
I was in class, I think we were talking about a project which I was very excited about. The teacher saw my expression and asked me, “Como te sientes (my name)?” And I think I was very embarrassed, so I tried to respond as quickly as possible. I replied with… “Si maestra estoy muy excitado!” Which I thought meant, “yes teacher, I am very excited”, but judging by my classmates, I had apparently said to the teacher that I was horny, very horny.
To anyone who’s learning a new language, just know that these things will eventually happen, and you will most likely get laughed at. But,the way you react to it depends on you. Just think that mistakes happen and laugh about it a bit more ;)
TL;DR let yourself fuck it up, you’ll get back up and try again
